Construction & Material Handling

Help technicians find the correct manual, service instruction, and spare part for the machine in front of them, wherever they are working.

Customers in this industry

A stopped machine can stop the customer’s entire operation

When a forklift fails at a loading dock or a loader stops on a construction site, the customer needs the correct diagnosis, part, and next action quickly.

Technicians work away from a desk and support many brands, models, and years. The answer may be spread across a manual, a later service bulletin, a parts catalogue, and the experience of a senior colleague.

Opero gives the technician one place to ask by chat or voice. It searches information for the specific machine, shows the source, and can continue into a service case or parts request.

Find information for the correct machine

Two machines with the same product name may use different components or repair procedures. A bulletin for an older model may also have been replaced.

Opero narrows the search using the brand, model, year, serial-number range, and document date. It avoids withdrawn instructions and links to the current source page.

If the information is incomplete or the next step is unsafe, Opero sends the case to a person instead of guessing.

Support technicians across locations and languages

Dealer networks may cover several countries while official service documents remain in one language. Opero supports more than 40 languages in chat and voice.

A technician can ask in their preferred language and still open the original source. Voice also works beside the machine when typing is impractical.

Move from a symptom to the next action

After finding the likely cause, Opero can check the parts catalogue, current stock, warranty, and customer contract. It can prepare a work order or parts request for review.

The technician does not repeat the same machine details across several systems, and the service office receives a structured case with useful context.

Example: a forklift stops during a busy shift

A customer reports a warning code and gives the forklift’s vehicle number. Opero identifies the model, finds the current service bulletin, and guides the customer or technician through approved checks.

If a component needs replacement, Opero identifies the current part number, checks availability, and prepares the case. If the problem remains uncertain, it transfers the case to a senior technician with the conversation and sources attached.

Keep dealer and customer information separate

Each person only sees the documents, prices, contracts, and customer records they may use. Read access is the default, and placing an order or changing a work order can require approval.

Every answer and action is recorded for later service or warranty review.
