How allowances and credits work

Your subscription includes seats and a monthly chat allowance. Document processing, extra chat messages and voice calls use credits, so usage outside the plan is paid for separately.

Chat allowances are shared

The monthly allowance belongs to the organisation rather than to individual users. One person can use capacity that another person does not need.

The first 1,000 pages are included

New organisations receive a welcome grant that covers 1,000 document pages. After that, processing costs 6 credits per page.

There are no automatic overage charges

Extra chat messages and voice calls draw from your credit balance. If the balance reaches zero, you choose whether to top it up.

01 What happens if we go over our included messages?
Extra messages use credits from your organisation’s balance at a flat rate. If the balance reaches zero, we ask you to top it up before you continue. We do not add overage charges automatically.
02 How does annual billing work?
An annual plan costs the same as 10 monthly payments, so you receive two months at no extra cost. We bill the full annual amount once a year for each seat.
03 Do unused chat messages roll over?
No. The organisation’s pooled allowance resets at the start of each monthly billing cycle.
04 Is there a free trial?
There is no free tier, and signup requires a payment card. If the plan is not right for you, contact us within 7 days and we will refund the subscription.
05 What does Enterprise include?
Enterprise covers custom usage limits, support for your own models, SSO, and cloud, on-premise or white-label deployment. We price it based on your usage and deployment requirements.
06 How is this different from Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT pricing?
Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT are general-purpose assistants. Opero is designed around technical documents, industrial systems and operational workflows. The comparison pages explain the differences for each product in more detail.
